What gives the silver its shimmer
Only the very tips of each hair are colored, so the coat seems to sparkle as the cat moves. Green or blue-green eyes, often rimmed in black, complete the classic chinchilla look.

Like all our doll-face Persians, silvers are gentle, mellow lap companions raised in our home around kids and dogs. Parents are DNA-tested for PKD, with documentation provided to every family.
Grooming this finer coat
The silver's fur is finer than a white's and tangles a little more easily, so it does best with brushing three to four times a week. We teach you the exact tools and technique, and match this variety to families ready for a touch more grooming.
